As reported in The Morning Call, Grand View Health's Chair of the board of trustees, Robert Pritchard, announced the hospital's 5-year, $210 million plan to develop and invest in new, state-of-the-art facilities to improve healthcare services in the region. The largest project includes a 170,000-sq-ft, five-floor hospital expansion to be constructed adjacent to the current hospital. The new facility will feature an emergency department, intensive care unit beds, and private inpatient rooms, a cardiac catheterization lab, operating rooms, and a full-service radiology suite. The expansion is scheduled to be completed in 2024. Renovations on other floors of the existing hospital are currently underway.
