The Arizona Public Media is reporting U.S. Senator Martha McSally has requested funding to build healthcare clinics on tribal lands in Arizona, including Phoenix Indian Medical Center, and health clinics on the Navajo and Tohono O'odham nations. McSally received verbal affirmation for a 2020 budget allowance to construct the health clinics, which was $77 million below the 2019 fiscal year's budget.
