As written in Becker's Hospital CFO Report, Sutter Health has created a labor pool to redeploy and reassign employees; however others have been furloughed. Sutter is offering the furloughed employees 80 hours of disaster pay to make up for hours lost. It is also using its disaster Relief Fund, designed initially for wildfire victims, to help provide financial assistance to staff members. Sutter has not laid off any employees.
